Well, this posting is long overdue. It is amazing the tender mercies the Lord gives us. On October 16, 2008 at 11:52 am a beautiful baby boy was born to BreighAn at Sunrise hospital. He was born at 34 and 1/2 weeks. He was 3 lbs. and 15 oz. and 12 inches long. He got his height and weight problems from his dad. He had some major health problems and because of this we didn't think that we were ever going to be able to hold him. On the 21st of October BreighAn and I made the difficult decision to take our son off of his life support machines on the 23rd of October. That is not an easy decision. Thank goodness for prayer and the sweet power of the Comforter. That night after giving our son a name and a blessing we were watching him in the NICU and the nurse asked us if we would like to hold our son. BreighAn started crying and I sat there dumbfounded. We didn't think that was a possibility. With the help of four nurses, all holding wires, tubes, and other machinery at the precise angle and length we were able to hold our son for about fourty-five minutes. What a blessing. Words cannot express the love that we feel for our son and the Lord. I mentioned to BreighAn that I will never complain about midnight feedings, crying, or diaper changes. What a joy just to have your son around. We feel so blessed to have had our son for one week. On the 23rd at 3:22 pm Keegan went home to his Heavenly Father. He has a work to do. We buried him in Thayne, Wyoming the following Monday. We love our son, and we love the Lord. How thankful we are to be members of His church and have the sealing power of the priesthood in holy temples. We also wanted to thank all of the support that we received from all the loving family members.

What a boy he is! We are so glad we got to see him, and jealous we did not get to hold him- must be parent priviledges!
